This on-demand course is aimed at movement and dance teachers who wish to learn the basics of Language of Dance® (LOD) in view of delivering LOD sessions in their own setting. It can also be useful for practitioners who are interested in new pedagogical approaches to movement exploration, creativity and choreography, and for those looking to investigate and deepen their own movement understanding.

The course focuses on the exploration and understanding of the 10 fundamental LOD movement concepts and symbols. After successful completion, candidates will have three additional modules to choose from – each focusing on how to deliver LOD sessions in different educational settings and/or for different purposes. 

The additional modules are:

1. Delivering the Level 1 Award in Language of Dance® Movement Exploration

2. Delivering LOD sessions in primary and secondary schools

3. Becoming an LOD Specialist.

Candidates can decide to take only one module or more than one, and in any order.
